Trampoline & Tumbling Competitive Program
This newer program has quickly risen to the top with athletes receiving top places at the Western Canada Cup. Athletes have now qualified and attended the National Trampoline and Tumbling Championships and have competed at International competitions including Worlds and WAGS. With all this, we continue to have aspirations of reaching higher levels in the sport.
Entry into the Trampoline & Tumbling Competitive Program is by assessment and invitation. Assessments are usually performed in June and athletes invited to participate in some summer training to determine readiness in the program. Trampoline & Tumbling athletes train three to five times a week, depending on other Competitive Gymnastics commitments, and are required to commit for a full year; from July to June (some summer training mandatory). Commitments also include attendance at Trampoline & Tumbling Competitions during the Competitive Season (usually in the Lower Mainland).
Athletes compete in Tumbling, Double-Mini Trampoline and Trampoline (which also includes Synchronized Trampoline) at the Provincial, National and International Levels.
