2022 Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championships:
Day 1:
Team BC Level 9 Seniors started on Vault and finished with a bye. Mylah started off strong with a vault scoring 9.600, putting her in first place (a spot she maintained). A fall on Beam still resulted in a great score of 8.600. Finishing on Floor, she landed all her tumbling solidly and scored 9.387.

Mylah qualified for Day 2 for Individual All Around and Apparatus Finals. In the team competition, Team BC narrowly missed the podium, finishing in 4th place, missing 3rd by only 0.096!

Competing in the Individual All Around and Event Finals, Mylah did amazing, going up for awards on 2 events and for the All Around!!!

Mylah Vanden-Elsen and Samantha Jones were part of the Senior Level 9 Team, which they qualified for at the Twisters Invitational in March.
Team Competition:
Team BC Level 9 Senior team took home the Silver Medal
Individual All-Around:
Mylah Vanden-Elsen: 4th Place All Around (Mylah helped secure the team Silver by finishing first on Vault, 5th on Floor and 5th on Beam).
Samantha Jones: 19th All Around at her first ever Western Canadian Championships, in a field of 29 gymnasts (Sam helped secure the Team Silver by finishing 10th on Floor)
The top 6 athletes on each apparatus moved on to apparatus finals. Mylah qualified for the Vault, Beam and Floor finals.
