Coming up the ranks in Recreational Gymnastics and wondering what steps to take next? Our Interclub Program takes athletes to the next step, teaching more advanced skills and getting them ready for competition by introducing routines and Interclub competitions. Competitions showcase routines and athletes are given certificates for their achievements, highlighting positive aspects of their work. As this is an introduction to the performance aspects of competition, athletes are not judged or scored and the focus is on individual effort.
Entry into all Interclub groups is by assessment and invitation. Assessment are usually performed in May and athletes are invited to start training during the summer. Interclub athletes train twice a week for a total of 6 hours and are required to commit for a full year; from July to June.
Commitments also includes attendance at a minimum of 5 Interclub Competitions during the Competitive Season.
