1.     How do I sign my children up for courses?

A: You can do so by calling the gym and inquiring about our many options for children of all ages,

or by stopping by the gym to grab one of our booklets and speak with an instructor or administrator.

How do I know which class is best?

A: Our highly trained staff can assist you with this.

3.     What are the costs?

A: Classes are broken down into a monthly fee based on the number of classes offered each session.

4.     Are there any other costs associated with gymnastics?

A: Competitive gymnasts are expected to purchase the team bodysuit and have the option to purchase the track suit as well. Costs for these vary from year to year.  Pre-competitive bodysuits will also be available throughout the year.  Recreational classes are not required to have specific suits.

5.     What should my child wear to gymnastics?

A: Gymnastics is a sport where appearance and behaviour are extremely important.  Women’s gymnastics carries with it a universal internal code of conduct and expected behaviour.  All NGS athletes must appear clean, neat and well-behaved at all times and must behave according to the highest possible standards.

Hair is to be tied back, kept off the face and kept at a length that does not cause distraction during training.  It should not appear unkempt or present a risk of entanglement in the apparatus or elsewhere.

Extreme hair and nail fashions (and colours) will not be accepted and each case will be dealt with individually by NGS.

Jewellery is not allowed during training with the exception of stud or very small hoop earrings.  All other items may not be worn unless they are a medic alert item.
